I know life is full. Kids, work, and endless to-dos can make it hard to carve out time for therapy. Meeting virtually means you can join sessions from your own space, without the stress of commuting or rearranging your whole day. Many people also feel more comfortable opening up at home, which helps the work move forward more quickly.

At this time, I’m self-pay only and do not bill insurance directly. I’m happy to provide a superbill (receipt) you can submit to your insurance provider if they offer out-of-network benefits.

Yes—I reserve a limited number of sliding scale spots to make therapy more accessible. Please reach out if cost is a barrier, and we can talk about current availability.

A Good Faith Estimate (GFE) outlines the expected costs of your therapy, so there are no surprises. It’s part of the No Surprises Act and ensures you know what to expect financially before we begin. I provide this to all clients at the start of therapy.

Our first session is mostly about getting to know each other. I’ll ask about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on for you, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once—this is just the beginning.

Choose a private, comfortable spot where you feel you can talk openly. Headphones can help with privacy, and it’s best to minimize distractions (kids, emails, notifications) as much as possible. Have your device charged (or a charger nearby), maybe a cup of coffee or tea, and set yourself up in a space where you can focus on you. That said, don’t stress—life happens, and we’ll work with whatever space you have.

I know life can be unpredictable, and sometimes things come up. I ask that you do your best to keep our scheduled time, but if you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will be billed at the full session rate. I do make an exception for one true emergency cancellation, because life happens.

My current rate is $140 for individuals and $150 for couples and families. Therapy is an investment in yourself and your relationships, and I aim to make it meaningful.

That depends on your goals. Some clients come in for a few months to work through a specific challenge, while others stay longer for deeper growth and support. We’ll check in along the way to make sure therapy is moving at a pace that feels right for you.
